Look at these photographs and see if you can figure out why I am concerned. . .

Cora has begun what can best be described as scooching! This nap started in the middle of the crib. In checking on her, John and I discovered that throughout her nap, she inched her way up to the head of the bed. This is about a 9 inch migration! Pretty amazing for an 8 week old. I think our carefree days of complete immobility are rapidly coming to a close! (Yes, we do let Cora nap on her tummy. Yes, I know that research frowns upon this. But, we discovered that she will nap much better in that position. I'm guessing it has something to do with helping her tummy to feel better. I do not fear SIDS because I know my God's will is good and perfect. I trust that He loves my baby even more than I do!)

sounds like you've had a rough couple of weeks. I should be a better friend and call you more often!! I put my babies on their tummies way before we are suppose to, but it's true they do sleep much better for longer periods of time! You are doing a great job as a first time mom and dad!!!!!
