Gamma is my Lewis grandmother. She started a psuedo-tradition of making afghans for special occasions. One Christmas, she made afghans for all of her children and grandchildren. There are eight of us. That may not seem like a huge number, but I'm sure when she was finished, she did not want to see yarn for a long time! When John and I got married, we got the afghan that sits on my favorite chair in the living room. And now, Cora has her own Gamma afghan. Now that Cora naps in her crib during the day, the afghan covers her slumbering body. Thanks Gamma!
