However, for one Saturday during college football season, John and I are a bit at odds with each other. You see, John is a proud graduate of Texas A & M University. I, as most of you know, am a graduate of Baylor. The high school years for our children will surely be interesting as they decide which university (and parent : ) they will prefer! No pressure there, kids!Let's take a trip down memory lane. . .5 Christmases ago, John and I were newly engaged and had gone to visit my parents for the holiday. As a way of accepting John into the family, my parents - formerly anti-Aggies, by the way - bought us an Aggie hat and socks for a baby. I have carefully safeguarded that gift until it was ready to be used. However, over those past five years, I did not manage to procure any Baylor licensed items for our child. So, despite the fact that Cora could be a 6th generation Baylor female, she has no way to show her green and gold blood. This is compounded by the fact that my parents, both Baylor grads themselves, gave her the Texas A & M merchandise!
Of course, when John gets the rare opportunity to dress her, I know what I will find on her little head. Surprisingly, we've actually gotten more compliments on the hat than anything else. I guess there are more Aggies around than we knew. However, I definitely will be remedying the lack of Baylor paraphernalia soon - especially before the big football season kick-off tailgate party!

Very adorable even if it is A&M.
Melissa...I have a pink Baylor t-shirt that's 6 months. Once Avery outgrows it, do you want it?? Cora needs to represent the bears! It's impossible to find Baylor stuff online...I usually have to wait until I go to Waco.
