The Number One Fan

Babies love ceiling fans. If I did not realize before how universal that truth is, I sure know now! Cora particularly loves to gaze at dark wood fans. She loves the one in our living room. Its blades are a rich mahogany color. (Obviously Cora has great taste! The other day she sat quite contentedly in her boppy on the bed and watched What Not to Wear!) Then, last night, we went to our friends', Jon and Lauren's, house. In their living room, they have this really beautiful dark wood fan with a neat light fixture that refracts the light all over the ceiling. Cora absolutely loved it. John had her propped up on the couch, and she would just stare and smile. If only it would always be this easy to entertain her!
