According to Cora's pediatrician: "Growth spurts typically happen around 7-10 days, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months of age. These are usually fussy periods of several days when your infant may want to feed every 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours. Be patient, try to get some rest, this period will pass." And all the experienced moms chuckle at the funny joke. I mean really, when are you supposed to rest! Last night, I would feed Cora for about 45 minutes. She would be good and asleep. I would put her down, settle myself, and get just about asleep before she would wake up and be hungry again. I'm just glad that after this growth spurt is over, we won't have another one for about 6 more weeks. Uh-oh, I hear her again. I think that was a record. . .20 minutes between feedings!
