Stats

Last Thursday, the girls had their well checks at the pediatrician.  When Cora was Carys's age, these check-ups were huge sources of anxiety for me since Cora seemed to have so much trouble putting on weight.  Just one look at Carys's gorgeous chunky thighs reassures me that I don't have to worry about it with our little chubilla!  Here's our starting line-up

At 3 ft, 1/4 inches and 28 pounds, Cora!  (25th percentile for weight and height)

At 2 ft, 1 1/4 inches and 15 pounds, 12 oz, Carys!  (25th percentile height, 40th percentile weight)

Carys has started sitting up on her own.  Although, she would much rather just roll around on the floor than  remain upright.  One of her favorite things to do is to flop over and put her feet in her mouth.  Her other favorite thing is to sing.  Girlfriend loves the sound of her own voice!

"Haha!  That's what I thought!"

Cora is also progressing right along.  Lately she has become very interested in other people.  A little of her shyness is starting to melt away though she still prefers to court the attention rather than it being thrust upon her.
