Remember this dress that I made for Cora for her first birthday? When I got my new sewing machine, I was able to finish the buttons just in time for her birthday. What I didn't realize is that I made the dress about 17 sizes too big! When I tried it on little missy, it looked like she was wearing a big, flowery potato sack. I guess there is a reason they put a tape measure in the sewing kit!?! You might want to measure your child so the clothes will fit! Luckily, here we are 6 months later, and, lo and behold, it fits! Thankfully, this outfit can be modified for cold weather by adding a cute little turtleneck and some tights. I made it reversible, so here is one look.
And, here is the other.
I think I like the dots better. Cora seems to like it better, too. The flowers seem a little large for tiny-might. What do you think?

I love it! Sewing is something I'm hoping to take up in this new year. Measuring is also not my strong point, though! I think the dress looks great as "winter wear". What a special treat for your little one.
hey at least your making outfits. i just dream about doing it. maybe you should sell your too big stuff just for fun on your site. i would buy one for my nieces.
