This post was not supposed to be about my sweet little burrito. So, don't mind the abrupt segue. We've been working on some sign language with Cora. So far, we've only introduced "more" and "all done." For about the past 2 weeks, she's had them backwards. But, today, she's really caught on and has been doing them correctly all day. In fact, when she woke up from her nap, I asked her if she wanted "more." Right away she did the sign for "more" and started saying "mo mo" which I believe is her attempt to say more. Ladies and gentlemen, that may have to go down in the baby book as the first word! Could that be any more like Cora to have her first word be something that gets her food! It was just so nice today to be able to know exactly what she wanted right at that time.
Since this post is filled with non-sequiters, I'll go ahead and throw this tidbit in. Cora's other favorite phrase is "bah bah." She says it all the time. So, we like to jokingly ask her, "What does a chicken say?" And, little missy will oblige with "bah bah." John and I both find it hilarious when she growls it. She gets her deepest voice and chatters. So, that's when we ask her what an angry chicken says! She'll get that deep, throaty voice and say "bah bah." It's so funny!
